Job summary

RTX Corporation is seeking a Program Operations Manager to partner with program leadership and factories in El Segundo, CA. The role focuses on shaping manufacturing strategy, BOM accuracy, and executable build plans to drive cost, schedule, and technical performance onsite.

This position requires 5+ years in operations or project management, experience with ERP systems, CAM/EVM, and the ability to obtain a DoD security clearance. RTX offers competitive salary and benefits packages.

Qualifications

• You Must Have minimum 5 years of experience in Operations, Manufacturing, Engineering and/or Program/Project Management.

• Experience with manufacturing/shop floor execution.

• Experience with Risk & Opportunity management, EAC, CAM and/or EV.

• University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or Advanced Degree with 5 years experience.

• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

• Obtain PM Certification (PML5) within 12 months; Earned Value Certification within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Shape, develop and execute product line strategies and objectives to meet cost, quality and schedule goals.
• Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive cost, schedule and technical performance.
• Establish executable manufacturing plans and manage operations risks and opportunities.
• Coordinate gate reviews and implement strategies in future production.
• Own On-Time Delivery and develop recovery strategies as required.
• Prepare and present information for Monthly Management Reviews.
