Job summary

GT Independence is seeking a Program Manager (Business & Operations) to guide a Connecticut-based operational unit. You will ensure payroll timeliness, monitor KPIs, and drive stakeholder satisfaction while leading staff and coordinating cross-functional projects.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in Business Operations, 3+ years in people management, and strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required with at least 24 hours of coursework in business/related fields
• 2+ years paid, professional experience in Business Operations
• 3+ years progressively responsible people management experience
• Extensive experience with complex projects and problem solving
• Excellent organizational and administrative skills with deadlines
• Ability to build positive relationships across diverse backgrounds
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience across software applications

Responsibilities

• Develops and monitors key performance metrics to measure staff performance and operations functions
• Evaluates business processes, procedures, and systems and makes improvement recommendations
• Participates in business development for recently acquired contracts
• Leads quality improvement projects and continuous improvement efforts
• Assigns and monitors staff caseloads and account distribution
• Ensures timeliness in payroll schedule requirements
• Evaluates program effectiveness through reports and leadership presentations
• Monitors and measures compliance standards
• Collaborates with staff to develop/update policies and training materials
• Develops staff through internal and external resources and on-the-job training
• Builds and maintains relationships with State agencies as a liaison
• Communicates goals, expectations, and results with stakeholders
• Performs other tasks related to Program Manager responsibilities
