Job summary

The Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development seeks a Program Manager II in its Division of Credit Assurance to monitor, evaluate, and analyze the performance of multifamily properties for regulatory compliance with DHCD loan documents.

The Asset Management Officer/Portfolio Manager reviews the financial, administrative, and physical condition of assets, advises supervisors of problems, and assists owners and property managers in implementing solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Experience monitoring affordable housing compliance including Low Income Housing Tax Credits, HOME, and Section 8 programs (preferred).
• Proficiency in analyzing financial statements (preferred).
• Access to own transportation between job sites.

Key qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
• Four years of administrative or professional experience including one year of financing or technical assistance experience in housing development or rehabilitation
• At least three years of general supervisory experience
• Experience monitoring affordable housing compliance including Low Income Housing Tax Credits, HOME, and Section 8 programs (preferred)
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite and ability to analyze financial statements (preferred)
• Access to own transportation between job sites
