Job summary

Advancia Government Services is seeking an Operations Manager in Lee’s Summit, MO to lead daily project operations and ensure contract performance excellence. You will implement policies, supervise supervisors and clerks, and coordinate with management to optimize resources while maintaining high quality.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in operations/project management, PMP or Six Sigma Green Belt, and strong MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Citizen and pass background checks.
• Three years of recent operations/project/site management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or PMP in lieu; Six Sigma Green Belt within 180 days.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication and writing skills.
• Pass pre-employment drug screen.
• Regular and punctual attendance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project activities with excellent interpersonal communication.
• Present oral briefings to government oversight personnel.
• Prepare SOPs and revisions.
• Communicate effectively with others.
• Conduct fact-finding for special projects and brief management.
• Manage time-sensitive issues and staffing levels.
• Mentor supervisors and clerks.
• Assist QC Manager with quality control.
• Foster a high-performance team environment.
• Organize monthly management meetings.
