Job summary

The Comptroller of Maryland's Compliance Division is seeking an Assistant Director (Program Manager IV) to streamline daily operations, develop SOPs, and coordinate divisional initiatives.

The role involves leading training programs, overseeing special projects, and updating the Division's Continuity of Operations Plan, while preparing progress reports and driving efficiency improvements across the division.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Five years of professional work experience managing and/or directing a business operation or project(s).
• Ability to create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures.
• Experience with training coordination and special project management.
• Knowledge of operational risk identification and reduction.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures for daily operations.
• Coordinate training programs for staff and divisions.
• Lead special projects to improve divisional efficiency.
• Update the Continuity of Operations Plan and prepare progress reports.
• Identify ways to increase efficiency across the division.
