Job summary

Community Services Group in Steelton, PA seeks an Assistant Program Director to support the management of Adult MH CRR programs under the direction of the Program Director. This full-time role includes supervisory responsibilities and on-call coverage as part of a 40-hour work week.

The role requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent, several years of experience with mental illness/IDD, and at least one year in supervision. A valid driver's license is needed for trainings and transport.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required; 2 years of direct work with mental illness/ID and at least 1 year supervision/management.
• Associate's degree with 60 credits or equivalent and 3 years of direct work with mental illness/ID and at least 1 year supervision/management.

Responsibilities

• Monitors program and employee compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
• Supervises, trains, and oversees performance management of program employees; makes employment decisions.
• Assists in recruiting, interviewing, and hiring of employees.
• Develops educational materials and provides training to staff.
• Ensures development and implementation of individual program plans and activities.
• Reviews financial documentation/billing and conducts on-site audits of funds.
• Leads staff multidisciplinary team meetings and directs daily operations including incident management.
• Serves as acting Program Director in absence of the Program Director.
• Participates in data collection and reporting to monitor program goals.
• Provides coverage in emergency situations.
