Job summary

Raytheon in McKinney, TX is seeking a Program Operations Engineer to lead front-end business management, BOM control, and cost/schedule management for development contracts in ASD. You will coordinate with program management, factories, and supply chain to deliver cutting-edge technology in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires a university degree with 3–5+ years in operations or PM, and the ability to obtain a DoD security clearance. Onsite work is expected with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in operations, manufacturing, or program/project management is essential.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee front-end business management to establish key deliverables.
• Manage bill of materials, requirements, and control account management.
• Collaborate with program management and factories to support schedules and cost targets.
• Validate drawings and ensure BOM accuracy and line of balance.
• Develop risk/opportunity plans and write Basis of Estimates (BOEs).
• Support quick-turn proposals and liaise across functions.
