Job summary

RTX, a premier aerospace and defense company, seeks a Program Operations Project Manager to drive execution of development contracts across ASD programs. You will coordinate with program management, factories, and supply chain to plan build and delivery of hardware in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include cost, schedule, and quality management, BOM development, and ensuring engineering documentation release on time. Strong CAM, ERP, and lifecycle sustainment experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience or an Advanced Degree with related field expertise.
• Experience with Office 365 tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ERP/Supply Chain systems.
• Experience supporting development, production, and lifecycle sustainment activities.
• EVMS training or certification.
• Active and transferable Secret U.S. government security clearance is required prior to start date.

Responsibilities

• Define key deliverables and execution plans for early program planning.
• Oversee BOM and requirements management with configuration control and schedule alignment.
• Execute CAM with cost, schedule, and quality performance tracking.
• Coordinate BOM structure and build plan with engineering to align with capabilities and timelines.
• Ensure drawings and documentation are released on schedule for procurement and production.
• Maintain BOM accuracy and Line of Balance for material availability.
• Interface with factory teams to plan build, test, tooling, and facilities.
• Lead factory readiness reviews for production readiness.
• Develop and manage risk/opportunity plans with mitigation actions.
• Prepare Basis of Estimates and support quick-turn proposals with operational inputs.
