Job summary

NIA Community Services Network in Brooklyn, NY is seeking an Assistant Cornerstone Director to help manage day-to-day operations at the Cornerstone Community Center. You will supervise staff, coordinate programming, and strengthen partnerships with community partners to support youth and families.

Responsibilities include curriculum and schedule development, data management, and ensuring program compliance with funders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in psychology, counseling, child development or elementary education preferred.
  • Must be punctual and reliable; full-time availability including evenings/weekends.
  • Strong, professional communication skills required.

Responsibilities

  • Manage on-site staff such as group leaders, instructors, office manager and security/building teams.
  • Represent NIA on-site and develop partnerships with community partners and sub-contractors.
  • Oversee data management for DYCD Cornerstone database; ensure attendance and reporting meet funder targets.
  • Assist with curriculum development, schedule creation, and event planning.
  • Collaborate with the Cornerstone Director and participate in meetings and professional development.
  • Engage in ongoing organization meetings to support program success and smooth operations.
  • Perform other duties to ensure Cornerstone program success.
