Job summary

RTX is seeking a seasoned program manager to oversee production programmatic metrics, earnings management, and EAC development in a fast-paced environment. This role requires strong analytic skills and the ability to lead cross-functional teams to meet deadlines and strategic goals.

Responsibilities include EVMS compliance, AOP/LRP inputs, and support for proposals and program start-up. A university degree (or advanced degree) and experience in manufacturing, engineering or project management

Qualifications

  • University degree or advanced degree with relevant experience.
  • Experience in manufacturing, operations, engineering, quality or program management.
  • Experience with Estimates at Complete (EACs).
  • Experience with Earn Value Management System (EVMS) and Cost Account Management (CAM).
  • Ability to obtain Secret security clearance; US citizenship required.

  • Oversee reporting of production programmatic metrics and monitor trends.
  • Manage earned value and ensure compliance with EVMS policy.
  • Support development of EACs.
  • Contribute to Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Long Range Plan (LRP) inputs.
  • Meet deadlines while managing priorities.
  • Use analytic data to drive informed business decisions.
  • Participate in leadership strategy reviews.
  • Support proposal development and program start-up activities.

What You Will Do
  • Oversee the reporting and review of production programmatic metrics on a regular basis, monitor for trends, and make recommendations to the appropriate functional partners and program manager.
  • Management of earned value, analysis of program performance ensuring compliance with internal EVM policy.
  • Support periodic development of Estimate at Completion (EACs).
  • Support the development of product group level inputs and updates to Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Long Range Plan (LRP) objectives.
  • Meet critical deadlines while managing multiple conflicting priorities.
  • Use strong analytical abilities to understand data quickly in order to make informed business decisions.
  • Participation in key leadership strategy reviews.
  • Support proposal development, submittal, negotiations and program start up activities.
Qualifications You Must Have
  • A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or
  • An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience.
  • Experience in Manufacturing, Operations, Engineering, Quality, Program and/or project management.
  • Experience with Estimates at Complete (EACs).
  • Experience in Earn Value Management System (EVMS) and Cost Account Management (CAM).
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. government issued security clearance.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer
  • Experience interfacing with senior level management and customers, including formal presentations.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet critical deadlines and develop and apply solutions and process improvements.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Experience with electrical hardware development, sub-systems, systems engineering, requirement development and/or requirement validation.
  • Experience working and reporting on complex production related issues.

Role Type and Security Clearance

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products. This position requires a security clearance. DCSA Consolidated Adjudication Services (DCSA CAS), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process. Salary

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD.

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
