Job summary

Pratt & Whitney in Goleta, CA is seeking a senior financial professional to partner with operations and program offices on production, development, and depot contracts. This role manages multi-program finances, supports startup activities, and performs EVM-based cost/schedule control.

You will prepare weekly/monthly forecasts, analyze EACs, and coordinate with teams across time zones. U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoD security clearance are required.

Qualifications

  • Typically requires a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or an advanced degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience performing financial analysis and reviewing financial data.
  • Experience preparing financial reports and summarizing financial analysis.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

What You Will Do

Working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Experience identifying and resolving program or financial issues. Experience managing multiple priorities and meeting established deadlines. Experience implementing process improvements. Experience communicating financial or program information to stakeholders at different organizational levels. Experience working independently and managing assigned responsibilities. Prior Program Controls experience. Active security clearance.

Salary

The salary range for this role is 95,500 USD - 181,700 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply. Onsite: Employees who are working in onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.
