Job summary

RTX is seeking an operations manager for the McKinney, TX area to plan daily objectives, assign tasks, and manage budget elements while ensuring policy compliance and steady workflow.

The role requires prior aerospace/defense manufacturing experience and U.S. citizenship. You will lead teams, coordinate with stakeholders, and drive Lean Six Sigma-based improvements in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

  • University degree or equivalent experience with minimum 5 years relevant experience, or advanced degree with minimum 3 years experience.
  • Experience in manufacturing aerospace and/or defense industry environment.
  • US Citizenship is required for access to information under this program/contract.

Qualifications
  • A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing aerospace and/or defense industry environment.
  • U.S. Citizen - U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with some or minimal supervision.
  • Experience with information technology systems, and experience working in a microelectronics assembly factory or similar environment.
  • Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma.
  • Experience working with a diverse array of personnel, with excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in managing test equipment.
  • Familiarity with industry or military specifications advantageous.
  • Familiarity with Circuit Card Repairs/modifications.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.

Salary

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
