Matlen Silver is seeking a diligent Program Operations Consultant in New York City to support the day-to-day execution of a Financial Wellbeing Program. The role requires coordinating onboarding, workshops, content management, and compliance submissions with a strong focus on SLAs and accuracy.

The ideal candidate manages multiple deliverables, documents workflows, and drives continuous improvements across teams while maintaining excellent communication and attention to detail.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 3+ years of experience in program operations or similar roles.
  • Experience managing multiple deliverables against SLAs and deadlines.
  • Strong organizational and proofreading capabilities.
  • Experience with process documentation and workflow development.
  • Strong reporting, auditing, and data-management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day execution of a Financial Wellbeing Program end-to-end.
  • Onboarding, workshop coordination, content management, and compliance submissions.
  • Produce regular reports and document processes for continuous improvements.
  • Identify and resolve issues before they impact production, clients, or partners.

Title: Program Operations Consultant
Location: New York, NY
Work Model: Hybrid – Monday & Friday Remote; Tuesday–Thursday Onsite
Duration: 12 Months, Possible Extension
Pay Rate: Up to $40/hr on W2
Work Authorization:Due to client requirements this role is only open to USC or GC candidates

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Program Operations Consultant to support the day-to-day execution of a Financial Wellbeing Program. This role will manage program operations end-to-end, including onboarding, workshop coordination, content management, compliance submissions, reporting, process documentation, and continuous process improvements.
The ideal candidate is a strong multitasker who can manage recurring daily, weekly, and monthly deliverables, meet established SLAs, coordinate across multiple teams, and proactively identify and resolve errors before they impact production, clients, or partners.
Must-Have Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • 3+ years of experience in program operations, project management, process management, or a similar operational role.
  • Strong experience managing multiple concurrent deliverables against defined SLAs and deadlines.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with demonstrated proofreading and content-review capabilities.
  • Experience with process documentation, workflow development, and process improvement.
  • Strong reporting, tracking, auditing, and data-management capabilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to work effectively across multiple teams and manage competing priorities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, solution-oriented approach.
Preferred / Negotiable Skills
  • Experience in insurance, financial services, banking, fintech, or another regulated industry.
  • Experience supporting program operations, field/agent enablement, or client-facing programs.
  • Experience with Qualtrics.
  • Experience with Calendly or similar scheduling platforms.
  • Experience with JIRA.
  • Experience with CMS/content management platforms.
  • Experience using AI tools to improve workflows and operational efficiency.
  • Experience with employee, employer, customer, or agent onboarding programs.
  • Experience supporting compliance-related processes or submissions.
Ideal CandidateThe ideal candidate is an execution-focused Program Operations or Project/Process professional who enjoys managing the details behind a complex program. They should be comfortable owning recurring operational processes, coordinating multiple stakeholders, working with data and reporting, documenting workflows, and identifying issues before they become problems.Candidates must be comfortable working onsite Tuesday–Thursday at in New York City.
