Job summary

The University of New Mexico–Los Alamos is seeking a Sr. Program Manager to lead non-credit workforce development, for credit programs, community and continuing education.

You will oversee planning, development, implementation, coordination and evaluation of a multifaceted portfolio aligned with regional needs and institutional priorities, while partnering with campus leadership, industry and community. This role also manages budgets, grants, reporting, compliance and instructor coordination,

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED with 7+ years related experience, 2+ in management.
  • Degree(s) above minimum education may substitute for experience year-for-year.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage non-credit workforce development, for-credit programs, community and continuing education.
  • Coordinate with Dean of Instruction and Chancellor; liaise with industry partners, workforce agencies, community organizations and prospective students.
  • Oversee budgeting, grant and contract administration, scheduling, reporting, compliance, and instructor coordination.
  • Monitor program performance with data-informed practices to guide improvement and sustainability.
