Job summary

Mission Action is seeking a Program Manager to oversee the Workers’ Center programs (Day Labor Program and The Women’s Collective) in San Francisco. The role drives strategic leadership, staff supervision, funding relations, and program development to support immigrant workers and improve community outcomes.

The position reports to the Director of Community Engagement & Organizing Programs and offers an exempt, full-time schedule with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years experience working with day laborers and/or immigrants, refugees and homeless communities.
• Language proficiency in English (desired) and Spanish (required).
• Excellent interpersonal and social emotional skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and day-to-day management of the two worker collectives: Day Labor Program and Women’s Collective.
• Develop relationships with funding partners and assist with grant writing and funders' reports.
• Oversee services, implement quality control, and measure social impact.
• Supervise staff, provide coaching, and conduct annual performance evaluations.
• Coordinate programs, budgeting, reporting, and organizational strategy.
