Program Manager – WomenLead

Responsibilities
  • Serve as a member of WomenLead’s leadership team, contributing to overall program management, budgeting, strategy setting, resource coordination, scheduling, and coordination of classes and program events.
  • Act as the primary liaison to College committees, resolve issues, recommend improvements, lead projects in collaboration with the Director and Associate Director of Outreach, and undertake special projects benefiting WomenLead and the University.
  • Manage the program’s funds, with budget responsibility over multiple accounts, including state, endowed, and grant funds; process invoices, program purchases, budget planning, reviews, and reporting; coordinate staff travel and program contracts.
  • Supervise the Administrative Specialist, university assistants, and graduate student assistants; conduct performance reviews, approve timecards, manage hiring, coordinate assignments, and hold weekly team meetings.
  • Coordinate scheduling and logistics related to WomenLead classes and programming, including WomenLead Presents, student recruitment events, Advisory Board meetings, alumni events, WomenLead 2.0, keynote addresses, and fundraising events.
  • Oversee creation of marketing materials, implementation and maintenance of the program’s social media strategy and interactive presence; interface with Marketing and Communications on event and marketing functions and updates to the WomenLead website.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for enrollment and registration questions, maintain program records, and facilitate recruitment email campaigns through Marketing Cloud.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field and two years of supervisory/managerial experience, or a Bachelor’s degree and four years of related experience, or a combination of education and related experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with budget management, payment processing, travel requests, and purchasing.
  • Student engagement experience.
  • Availability to work Tuesdays until 7 pm and occasional weekday evenings.
  • Experience working with teams and managing employees, including student workers.
  • Event planning and management experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Experience with course scheduling.
