Job summary

WorkGenius in Burbank, CA is seeking a Program Manager to lead the Studio Technology Portfolio Operations. The role oversees cross-functional technology programs, governance, and delivery across software, infrastructure, and production systems.

You will partner with Product, Engineering, and Finance to align planning, budgets, and ROI, while advancing AI-enabled workflows and dashboards to drive business value.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in program management, including cross-functional coordination across multiple teams and technologies.
• Experience leading technical teams in software development, infrastructure, data, media, or related environments; Scrum Master or Product Manager/Owner experience preferred.
• Experience managing budgets, forecasting, ROI analysis, and portfolio performance metrics.
• Advanced proficiency with Jira, Jira Service Management, Smartsheet, Lucidchart, or similar tools; analytics/AI tools preferred.
• Strong analytical, communication, and executive presentation skills; PMP/CSM/SAFe or consulting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Lead complex, cross-functional technology programs from intake and requirements through planning, execution, value realization, and governance using waterfall, Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid methodologies.
• Manage program delivery, including sprint ceremonies, prioritization, dependencies, risks, contingency planning, resource allocation, and changing business priorities.
• Develop portfolio dashboards, KPI reporting, process maps, roadmaps, executive presentations, business cases, and leadership reviews covering program health, financial performance, adoption, and business value.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Finance, and business leaders on quarterly planning, OKRs, portfolio prioritization, budgets, forecasting, cost optimization, ROI tracking, and initiative evaluation.
• Drive operational improvement and AI adoption by developing AI-enabled workflows, prompt frameworks, automation agents, intelligent dashboards, and governance practices while mentoring project teams and promoting best practices.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in program management, project management, technical project management, or product operations, including 5+ years managing complex cross-functional programs across multiple teams and technologies.
• Experience leading technical teams in software development, infrastructure, data, engineering, production technology, media, entertainment, or related environments; Scrum Master or Product Manager/Owner experience is preferred.
• Experience managing budgets, forecasting, ROI analysis, resource utilization, and financial or portfolio performance metrics.
• Advanced proficiency with Jira, Jira Service Management, Smartsheet, Lucidchart, or comparable project management, ticketing, and process-mapping tools; experience with analytics and AI tools is preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, facilitation, communication, and executive presentation skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-changing environment; PMP, CSM, SAFe, a related degree, or consulting experience is preferred.
