Job summary

The University of Houston-Clear Lake is seeking a Program Manager for Organizations and Leadership to lead student leadership initiatives on-site in Houston, TX. You will advise registered student organizations, design leadership curricula, and coordinate events that promote inclusive participation and community engagement.

You will manage budgets, track program outcomes, and collaborate with faculty, staff, and students to strengthen campus involvement and strategic planning for student success.

Qualifications

• Program and project management for student-centered initiatives.
• Experience advising or mentoring student organizations.
• Strong communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
• Collaboration across departments to foster inclusive, engaging campus programs.
• Data collection, reporting, and evaluation to support improvement.
• Bachelor’s degree in higher education, student affairs, leadership, organizational development, or related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
• Experience in higher education, student affairs, or leadership programs in diverse campus environments.
• Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends for events.

Responsibilities

• Advise student organizations and coordinate leadership development curricula.
• Plan, implement, and assess programs that support student leaders and campus involvement.
• Manage program budgets and maintain records and compliance with university policies.
• Collect data for program evaluation and prepare reports for planning and assessment.
• Contribute to strategic planning to enhance the student experience and campus engagement.
