Job summary

Hillside Community Church in Rancho Cucamonga seeks a Program Manager to lead a large, multi-faceted initiative spanning several interdependent sub-projects. You will set the program strategy, align workstreams, and manage cross-functional and external dependencies, reporting progress to senior stakeholders.

The role requires fluency with multiple delivery methodologies (Waterfall, Agile/Scrum, Kanban) and comfort moving between strategic and tactical work. Part-time, on-site role.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project/program management experience leading multi-sub-project programs.
• Experience managing external agencies, vendors, or contractors with budget oversight.
• Ability to apply Waterfall, Agile/Scrum, and Kanban depending on scope and risk.
• Excellent written and verbal communication to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own the overall program roadmap, timeline, budget, and success metrics.
• Define governance structures and reporting cadences.
• Identify and manage cross-project dependencies, risks, and resource conflicts.
• Coordinate with external agency, review SOWs, and manage handoffs.
• Prepare status reports and executive dashboards; facilitate steering meetings.
