Job summary

Bastion Technologies, Inc. seeks an experienced Program Manager to lead the PEMSS contract for NASA Ames at Mountain View, CA.

You will provide overall leadership for program performance, coordinate a multidisciplinary team, manage budgets and schedules, and maintain NASA relationships to deliver engineering, manufacturing, and science services. The role requires US citizenship or permanent resident status, a bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field, and 20+ years of federal contract

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, physical sciences, or related discipline.
• Minimum 20+ years of related work experience.
• Experience managing federal government contracts, including performance, staffing, cost, schedule, and customer satisfaction.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary technical teams and coordinating personnel across multiple functional organizations.
• US Citizenship or Permanent Resident status due to sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and management of PEMSS contract execution, ensuring performance meets contractual requirements and cost/schedule objectives.
• Develop and maintain strong NASA Ames relationships with program managers and stakeholders.
• Oversee delivery of multidisciplinary engineering, manufacturing, scientific, and technical services for NASA Ames missions.
• Lead a diverse technical workforce, including recruitment, staffing, and development.
• Monitor budgets, labor utilization, subcontractor performance, and deliverables; address risks proactively.
• Establish management processes, track KPIs, and ensure compliance with contract requirements and safety standards.
• Coordinate with Bastion Technologies, Intuitive Machines, and others to integrate capabilities for NASA requirements.
• Identify risks and drive continuous improvement to enhance service delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Stay aware of evolving NASA Ames requirements and pursue follow-on opportunities.
• Support other duties as assigned.
