Job summary

Richard Bland College is seeking a Program Manager to lead and coordinate programs within the Office of Research & Innovation. This 100% grant-funded role runs through June 30, 2027, with continuation contingent on future funding.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, education, public administration, social sciences, organizational leadership, emergency management, program management, or a related field.
• Experience coordinating multiple projects, programs, or initiatives with competing priorities and deadlines.
• Experience developing relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong written, verbal, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Experience collecting, organizing, and using data to monitor program activities and outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate ORI programs, projects, and initiatives, including planning, implementation, tracking progress, and ensuring successful completion of deliverables.
• Develop project plans, operational procedures, documentation, and resources to support effective program administration.
• Coordinate applied and experiential learning opportunities with campus and community partners.
• Design and facilitate training, workshops, and professional development activities for workforce readiness.
• Support student success and PIV initiatives through outreach, engagement, retention, and assessment.
