Job summary

Stanford University’s Forever Lab within the Division of Primary Care and Population Health seeks a Program Director to lead teams across multiple research and design programs, guiding planning and execution with a transdisciplinary focus. This hybrid role supports continued innovation and collaboration.

The PD will manage program operations, oversee budgets, develop outreach, and ensure progress toward goals while mentoring staff and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and five years of relevant experience.
• Strong planning and organizational abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and written/oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and operations for programs with significant business, regulatory and/or technical challenges.
• Evaluate programs and develop alternative solutions, policies and procedures.
• Review trends and advise on goals, with actionable recommendations.
• Represent the program to department, unit, school, and external stakeholders.
• Develop outreach strategies and oversee budgeting and financial forecasting.
• May direct and supervise staff and contribute to training needs.
