Job summary

WidePoint Integrated Solutions Corp. is seeking a Program Manager to lead the NASA SEWP VI contract from multiple U.S. locations in a hybrid setup.

The role focuses on strategic direction, governance, and performance of task orders while managing relationships with government stakeholders and internal teams. The ideal candidate will bring a business/IT/engineering background, 7–10 years of program management experience, and familiar with SEWP contracts.

We are looking for a highly motivated Program Manager NASA SEWP VI Hybrid out of Columbus, OH Fairfax, VA or Hampton, VA that can operate in a fast-paced and demanding environment of a micro-cap publicly-traded company.

Position Summary

The Program Manager is a strategic leader responsible for the overall management, administration, and performance of the NASA Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement (SEWP) VI contract and its associated awards/task orders. The Program Manager provides leadership, governance, and operational oversight to ensure contractual requirements are fulfilled, awards/task orders are effectively coordinated, and program objectives are achieved in alignment with customer expectations and organizational goals.

Serving as the primary interface between WidePoint and Government stakeholders, including the Contracting Officer (CO), Contracting Officer's Representative (COR), Government Program Managers, and other authorized representatives, the Program Manager fosters collaborative relationships. The Program Manager facilitates effective communication throughout the contract lifecycle. The Program Manager provides leadership to Project Managers and cross-functional teams, ensuring award/task order execution is integrated, risks and issues are proactively managed, contractual obligations are met, and program performance supports operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

The Program Manager is accountable for providing strategic direction, coordinating program resources, monitoring contract performance, promoting continuous process improvement, and ensuring the successful delivery of all contract requirements through effective leadership and oversight.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Provide strategic leadership and overall management for the NASA SEWP VI contract and its associated task orders, ensuring alignment with contractual requirements, customer mission objectives, WidePoint policies, and organizational goals.
  • Provide leadership, direction, coaching, and oversight to Project Managers and cross-functional teams, promoting collaboration, accountability, operational excellence, and the successful execution of task orders and contract objectives.
  • Serve as WidePoint's primary representative for the NASA SEWP VI contract, establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with the Contracting Officer (CO), Contracting Officer's Representative (COR), Government Program Managers, subcontractors, vendors, and other authorized stakeholders. Coordinate contractual communications, administrative actions, contract modifications, and customer inquiries to ensure timely and effective resolution.
  • Direct and oversee program operations by coordinating activities across Project Managers, functional organizations, subcontractors, and support teams, ensuring resources, priorities, schedules, and operational commitments remain aligned to achieve successful contract performance.
  • Monitor and evaluate contract performance by reviewing contractual requirements, Service Level Agreements (SLAs), Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), program metrics, operational data, and performance trends. Identify risks, issues, and opportunities for improvement, implement corrective actions, and ensure compliance with contractual requirements, WidePoint policies, and applicable laws and regulations.
  • Oversee the preparation, quality, and timely submission of contractual reports, deliverables, and required documentation, ensuring reporting records are accurate, complete, and maintained in accordance with contractual and WidePoint requirements.
  • Lead or participate in program reviews, executive briefings, status meetings, and customer engagements, communicating program performance, accomplishments, risks, issues, and corrective actions to Government customers and WidePoint leadership while fostering responsive customer service and strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Promote continuous improvement by evaluating program processes, implementing best practices, lessons learned, and operational improvements that enhance efficiency, quality, customer satisfaction, and overall contract performance.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities)

The minimum qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, program management, project management, information technology, engineering, or a related discipline; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and progressively responsible experience.
  • Seven (7) to ten (10) years of progressively responsible experience managing program or operational management, contracts, or complex operational initiatives.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or comparable project management certifications are highly desirable.
  • Experience working with previous NASA SEWP contract iterations is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams and supervising Project Managers or other professional staff.
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent awards, task orders, projects, or workstreams within a contract or similarly complex operational environment.
  • Experience serving as the primary interface with Government customers and stakeholders.
  • Experience administering contracts and ensuring compliance with contractual requirements, reporting obligations, and performance objectives.
  • Experience working in an operational or 24/7 environment.
  • Strong understanding of mobile communications, including technical knowledge and industry experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of effectively communicating with a diverse range of customers and colleagues.
  • Strong expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio.
  • Ability to obtain a Top Secret (TS) clearance, existing Security Clearance highly desirable.
  • Willingness to travel to other WidePoint, client, and partner sites.
Supervisory Responsibilities

Supervisory responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Participate in workforce planning, staffing, recruitment, interviewing, onboarding, and retention activities to ensure the program is appropriately resourced.
  • Ensure continuity of program operations through effective succession planning, cross-training, and knowledge sharing.
  • Lead, direct, and oversee the work of Project Managers and assigned program personnel in support of contract and award/task order execution.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide timely, constructive feedback to support employee growth and continuous improvement.
  • Address employee performance concerns and recommend or implement corrective actions, disciplinary measures, and employment decisions in accordance with WidePoint policies and procedures.
