Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Program Manager to lead a challenging IT program delivering integrated voice, video, and data services across the Information Technology lifecycle. You will oversee contract execution, coordinate with U.S.

Government stakeholders, and ensure effective management across dispersed locations and twelve functional areas. The role requires strong leadership, critical thinking, and the ability to manage complex architectures while meeting budgets and schedules.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication to senior government officials and executives.
• Experience managing technical programs of comparable size and complexity.
• Proven ability to manage complex information systems architectures and multiple databases.
• Manpower planning, procurement, training, and employee development experience.
• Ability to deliver solutions on schedule within cost estimates and performance requirements.
• Experience supporting military/system engineering, installation, maintenance, and logistics processes.
• Strong understanding of program management, risk, QA, and metrics.
• Active Top-Secret clearance with SCI or TS and ability to acquire SCI.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and supervision of up to 180 employees across dispersed locations and 12 functional areas.
• Direct resource planning, workforce management, recruiting, training, and performance management.
• Cultivate relationships with government stakeholders and COR; primary point of contact for execution and contractual matters.
• Lead customer meetings on performance, requirements, and technical issues; drive satisfaction and accountability.
• Oversee complex information systems architectures and defense-related IT initiatives.
• Guide modernization efforts through contemporary infrastructure, networks, and communications technologies.
• Serve as SME for prioritization, procurements, and mission-critical activities.
• Plan, execute, and monitor projects to meet budgets, schedules, and performance targets.
• Identify, assess, and manage program risks; ensure continuity and mission success.
• Manage procurement activities, vendor coordination, and lifecycle management.
• Oversee budgets, funding, forecasting, and reporting within negotiated parameters.
• Address contractual, operational, and technical issues promptly.
• Identify opportunities for organic growth within the customer base.
