Job summary

Amentum is seeking an experienced Project Controls Manager to lead standardized controls across a diverse portfolio of projects, including domestically and internationally. You will oversee planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management to align with contract requirements and organizational goals.

This role requires a strategic, analytical mindset and hands-on expertise in project controls, including ICD-705 security standards.

Qualifications

Active Secret clearance required; TS/SCI preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, architecture, accounting, finance, business administration, or related fields.
10+ years of project controls experience in secure or classified environments.
5+ years of leadership or team management in project controls.
PMO support experience and practical project controls delivery.

Responsibilities

Program controls oversight across multiple projects: planning, scheduling, budgeting, cost control, and change management.
Monitor progress to ensure alignment with cost, schedule, and quality objectives.
Ensure ICD-705 standards and security/compliance for secure projects.
Budgeting, cost controls, and resource management with forecasts and risk mitigation.
Develop baselines for scope, schedule, and budget and track performance; deliver reports and dashboards.
