Job summary

Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. seeks a detail-oriented Program Manager to drive marketing operations across Machine Learning University (MLU). You will own campaigns, events, and brand initiatives, coordinating with operations, product, and instruction teams to ensure timely delivery and consistent brand application.

You will design scalable workflows, leverage automation to reduce cycle times, and analyze campaign data to inform improvements and weekly reporting on impact.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of program or project management experience.
  • Experience defining and executing program requirements.
  • Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams.
  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.

Responsibilities

  • (Deliver Results) Own end-to-end program management for marketing campaigns, events, and brand initiatives — from requirements gathering through execution, measurement, and retrospective.
  • (Ownership) Manage the marketing operations calendar, ensuring cross-functional alignment on timelines, dependencies, and deliverables across campaigns, events, and product launches.
  • (Invent and Simplify) Design scalable marketing workflows and processes; drive adoption of automation tools to reduce cycle time on repetitive tasks.
  • (Think Big) Support strategic marketing initiatives including rebranding, community engagement programs, and large-scale events by managing project plans and go-to-market timelines.
  • (Earns Trust) Coordinate across MLU teams and partner orgs to align marketing efforts with program goals and brand consistency.
  • (Insist on High Standards) Maintain brand consistency across all marketing touchpoints via brand portal and reviews.
  • (Dive Deep) Track and report marketing program performance and identify optimization opportunities.

Job description

Machine Learning University (MLU) is leading internal education in Generative AI, Agentic AI and Responsible AI, accelerating Amazon-wide AI transformation. We are seeking a detail-oriented, customer-obsessed Program Manager to drive marketing operations and cross-functional initiatives that amplify MLU's reach and engagement across Amazon's technical workforce.

Key job responsibilities
  • (Deliver Results) Own end-to-end program management for marketing campaigns, events, and brand initiatives — from requirements gathering through execution, measurement, and retrospective.
  • (Ownership) Manage the marketing operations calendar, ensuring cross-functional alignment on timelines, dependencies, and deliverables across campaigns, events, and product launches.
  • (Invent and Simplify) Design and implement scalable marketing workflows and processes that improve efficiency as the program grows in volume and complexity. Drive adoption of automation tools (e.g., AI-assisted copywriting, automated recurring communications) to reduce cycle time on repetitive tasks.
  • (Think Big) Support strategic marketing initiatives including potential program rebranding, community engagement programs, and large-scale events by managing project plans, stakeholder coordination, and go-to-market timelines.
  • (Earns Trust) Coordinate across MLU teams (operations, product, instruction) and partner organizations to align marketing efforts with broader program goals and ensure consistent brand application.
  • (Insist on High Standards) Maintain brand consistency across all marketing touchpoints by managing the brand portal, standards documentation, and creative review processes.
  • (Dive Deep) Track and report on marketing program performance metrics. Analyze campaign data to identify optimization opportunities and contribute to weekly/monthly reporting on marketing impact.
Basic Qualifications
  • 3+ years of program or project management experience
  • Experience defining and executing program requirements
  • Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with marketing tools including email, web analytics, CRM, and marketing automation platforms
  • Experience in marketing operations, campaign management, or brand management
  • Familiarity with AI/ML concepts or experience in a technical education environment

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
