Work Schedule:
This is a full-time position, scheduled to work Monday through Friday with core business hours between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. The role is hybrid with an occasional need to work onsite in Madison, WI to support organizational priorities.

We are seeking a Program Manager - Managed Careto:

• Lead negotiations with managed care companies and health plans for agreements on behalf of the entire UW Health system, including UW Health-Northern Illinois, UnityPoint Health – Meriter, UW Rehabilitation Hospital and other entities.
• Develop strategic planning for the entities and the payer relationships to achieve the financial goals of the organization.

Plans for negotiations to achieve financial targets, cover our market regions, maintain strong language terms and improve operational issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree . Four (4) years of experience may be considered in lieu of the degree in addition to the experience below. Required
• Master's Degree Preferred

Work Experience

• 2 years experience in healthcare organization or health insurance industry Required
• Experience in a large healthcare organization or academic medical center Preferred
• Professional or leadership/Negotiator roles in insurance and/or payer organization Preferred
