Job summary

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health in Clementon, NJ is seeking a Program Manager to lead a multidisciplinary team and oversee a group home. The role emphasizes developing individualized plans and ensuring community-facing program operations.

The ideal candidate will have a supervisory background in behavioral health, a valid driver’s license, and a passion for servant-leadership, with a salary targeted at mid-to-upper $50k range.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Valid non-provisional driver's license.
• Attend ten days of paid onsite orientation on weekdays.
• One year of supervisory experience in a child/adult behavioral health care agency.
• Two years experience working with individuals with disabilities in a community setting preferred.
• Empathetic and a team approach to care for our individuals.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement occupational, recreational, social and other developmental plans for each individual in care.
• Ensure facilities of the program are maintained to present Devereux as a good neighbor.
• Oversee staff within the program including hiring, performance management, attendance, payroll accuracy and training compliance.
• Ensure shifts within the program are adequately covered.
• Supervise planning, implementation, and documentation of programs meeting social, emotional, physical and personal needs.
• Plan and participate in group outings for individuals.
• Manage shopping for home necessities such as food, clothing and household items.
• Schedule and transport individuals to doctor’s appointments, shopping trips, and day programs/schools.

The Program Manager reports directly to the Program Director. This position is based in Clementon, NJ and oversees our group home.

Salary: $58,000- $68,000
