Job summary

UC Irvine is seeking a Program Manager for the Integrative and Functional Medicine Fellowship (IFMF). The role requires independent coordination of a growing academic program, aligning with institutional priorities, and ensuring high-quality program operations.

You will manage day-to-day activities, support curriculum and educational initiatives, and foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive program goals while maintaining compliance and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of relevant policies and regulatory requirements for health professions education programs.
• Advanced knowledge of a health professions education program curriculum and requirements.
• Strong analytical skills in administrative analysis and operations research to improve quality and reduce cost.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with active listening and advisory skills.
• Advanced interpersonal skills to collaborate across the organization.
• Strong organizational and project management abilities to lead a team and deliver on schedule.
• Bachelor's degree in related area or equivalent experience / training.
• At least 7 years of experience in a related role.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive management and operational oversight of the IFMF.
• Coordinate program activities and support curriculum and educational initiatives.
• Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure effective implementation of program goals and requirements.
• Work independently with judgment to manage day-to-day and long-term needs of a complex academic program.
• Identify opportunities for program enhancement and alignment with institutional priorities.
• Manage student enrollment and ensure compliance with standards.
