The Susan Samueli Integrative Health Institute (SSIHI), part of UCI Health and the Susan & Henry College of Health Sciences, works to transform healthcare through the practice of integrative health by conducting rigorous research, promoting evidence-based treatment modalities, educating the public on well-being practices, providing individualized, patient-centered clinical care, and providing services to the community that focus on obtaining optimal health.



Your Role on the Team

The Integrative and Functional Medicine Fellowship (IFMF) is a nationally visible, multi-cohort academic program requiring specialized program management, independent coordination, and ongoing program development. The Program Manager is responsible for the comprehensive management and operational oversight of the IFMF, including coordinating program activities, supporting curriculum and educational initiatives, managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring effective implementation of program goals and requirements. The incumbent works independently with a high degree of judgment and accountability to manage the day-to-day and long‑term operational needs of a complex and growing academic program, identify opportunities for program enhancement, manage student enrollment, and ensure alignment with institutional priorities, academic standards, and applicable program requirements.

Required:



  • Advanced knowledge relevant policies and regulatory requirements. Advanced knowledge of a health professions education program curriculum and requirements. Maintains a broad range of expertise in health professions education and industry best practices.

  • Advanced knowledge of administrative analysis and operations research. Demonstrated ability to apply knowledge and skills to develop and implement complex processes and systems improving program quality and efficiency and reducing cost.

  • Excellent communicator; includes verbal and written, active listening, critical thinking, persuasiveness, advising skills. Ability to handle sensitive personal information with appropriate discretion and judgment.

  • Advanced interpersonal skills. Skills to work collaboratively coordinate and integrate with others throughout the organization. Successful experience working with people with a wide range of backgrounds and skills.

  • Advanced organizational and project management skills. Ability to lead a team, prioritize personal and team tasks and see projects through from inception to completion on schedule. Advanced personal organization skills and ability to apply to administration of the entire program including organizing critical files for compliance.

  • Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training

  • At least 7 years of experience and/or relevant work experience


Preferred:



  • In-depth knowledge of educational software and technologies to promote a wide‑range of teaching and learning goals.

  • In-depth knowledge of data management, documentation methods used in investigating and presenting findings about the program.

  • In-depth knowledge of integrative and/or functional medicine practices.

  • Master's degree in related area
