Job summary

Amazon seeks a Program Manager to join the Startup Integrated Planning team within the GEMS organization in the US. You will lead integrated scheduling across North America’s infrastructure portfolio, oversee planners, set governance, and drive planning maturity in a rapidly scaling environment.

You will collaborate across design, operations, construction, and IT, manage budgets and risk, and travel up to 50% within the US/Canada. Relocation support may be provided.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of program or project management experience.
• 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics.
• Advanced Excel and SQL skills.
• Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements.
• Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 3+ years of integrated scheduling experience including MS Project or Primavera P6.
• Experience applying AI tools and automation to scale operations.
• Strong problem solving and stakeholder management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Shape and advance the workforce and vendor strategy for contracted planners.
• Oversee contracted project planners: set expectations and review deliverables.
• Assign and rebalance planners across projects based on priority.
• Track project budgets, manage invoicing, and provide funding inputs.
• Refine quality standards for integrated schedules and governance.
• Develop planning maturity and roadmap with KPI dashboards.
• Create SOPs and develop tooling to improve planner productivity.
• Identify risks, surface dependencies, and drive resolution.
• Build program-level partnerships with design, operations, construction, and IT.
