Hybrid onsite - 4x a week initially, 2x a week long term

W2 Contract compensating $65 - $70/hr

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to spearhead high-impact, cross-functional software delivery across Charter's critical consumer and business application ecosystems. In this role, you will hold comprehensive ownership of the Project Lifecycle -from strategic planning and architecture alignment through to deployment and post-launch optimization.

As a senior champion of delivery, you will operate with high autonomy to orchestrate mature, multi-workstream technical programs, untangle complex cross-team dependencies, and drive measurable execution outcomes. Key Responsibilities

• Drive Complex Program Execution: Lead end-to-end delivery across multiple concurrent, large-scale initiatives; define program scope, establish rigorous timelines, mitigate structural risks, and ensure high-quality software deployment.
• Unify Cross-Functional Ecosystems: Align and orchestrate across Product, Engineering, and QA teams, maintaining absolute transparency across competing dependency tracks.
• Champion the Project Lifecylce: Oversee the lifecycle of customer-facing applications from early-stage discovery and technical planning through to testing, deployment, and post-production support.
• Executive Stakeholder Communication: Deliver crisp, data-driven, and timely updates to leadership; facilitate high-level status reviews, alignment workshops, and executive reporting.
• Proactive Risk Mitigation: Uncover and resolve systemic, program-level bottlenecks and architectural dependencies through collaborative negotiation and strategic escalation.
• Data-Driven Program Tracking: Maximize program management toolsets to manage extensive backlogs, track workstream velocity, and report on key delivery health metrics.

Required Skills & Experience

• 7+ years of dedicated Program or Project Management experience within a mature, fast-paced technology organization.
• Proven Delivery of Scalable Applications: A verified track record of managing large-scale, customer-facing B2B or B2C applications.
• Mastery of Dependency Management: Demonstrated capability navigating highly complex, multi-team environments with conflicting priorities and overlapping codebases.
• Agile Leadership: Deep operational knowledge of Agile methodologies with hands-on experience leading within Agile and scaled Framework structures.
• Technical Fluency: Ability to naturally bridge the gap between engineering teams and business units. Familiarity with front-end development concepts is highly advantageous.
• Tooling Expertise: Advanced proficiency with Jira for backlog management/sprint tracking and Confluence for program documentation, collaboration, and centralized knowledge repositories.
• Enterprise Software Proficiency: High level of skill utilizing the Microsoft Office / 365 Suite to synthesize complex programmatic data for diverse audiences, including:
• MS Excel: Advanced capabilities for tracking program metrics, financial forecasting.
• MS PowerPoint: Creating high-impact, polished, and structured visual decks for executive-level status reporting and alignment meetings.
• MS Project / Visio: Leveraging timeline modeling, Gantt charts, and workflow/architecture diagrams to map dependencies.
• Executive Presence: Masterful communication and leadership skills; the unique ability to hold engineering teams accountable while building trust with executive leadership.

Nice to Have

• Alternative PPM Tools: Exposure to broader project portfolio management software such as Asana, Monday.com, SmartSheet, or Clarity PPM.
• Enterprise Background: Experience navigating and scaling initiatives within a large-scale Telecom, Cable, or Media enterprise.
• Digital Product Portfolio: Specific background supporting the delivery of modern, customer-facing mobile or responsive web applications.
