Overview

We're seeking an experienced Program Manager responsible for managing software development in both 3rd-party vendor and internal applications supporting Business Operations and Field Service Organizations. This role will be responsible for business requirements development and traceability, managing development design, acceptance testing, operational deployment, and vendor management. The role also involves establishing and maintaining best practice program management while executing on critical tools and technology programs to achieve business objectives. This position is a long-term role located in either Philadelphia, Denver, or Naperville, working onsite 4 days a week and one day remote. Must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring Visa sponsorship.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Document program and project deliverables using best practice methodologies
  • Plan and monitor the progress of complex programs and multiple workstreams
  • Integrate business policies and processes into planning & accountability for project roadmaps and strategy
  • Establish risk management, escalation paths, and take corrective actions
  • Build and manage program business case and budget (as applicable)
  • Manage resources across projects, including 3rd-party vendors
  • Facilitate and lead program meetings and stakeholder communications
  • Identify KPIs to assess impact, including pass/fail, adoption, and usage
  • Coordinate and monitor workflow of cross-functional teams
  • Perform quality assurance on project artifacts and deliverables
  • Align deliverables to the program’s outcomes
  • Own overall programs, managing cross-functional resources, ensuring on-time delivery, budget compliance, and business goals achievement
  • Exercise informed judgment and discretion in significant matters

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Minimum of 10 years of program/project management experience managing multiple workstreams within the Telecom industry
  • Proven experience with SDLC (Discovery, Design, Develop, Test, Deploy); consulting experience preferred
  • High emotional intelligence (EQ) and ability to communicate weekly executive status (slides & RAG health)
  • Experience creating PowerPoint decks for stakeholders and presenting insights succinctly
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder, and management skills
  • Experience managing 3rd-party vendors through development cycles
  • Knowledge of resource allocation procedures
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including influencing, strategizing, and negotiating
  • Ability to process and present information quickly and clearly for executives
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and SmartSheet

Education/Certifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or Computer Science required
  • PMP or PMI certification preferred
  • MBA highly desired

Compensation

For Colorado applicants, the estimated compensation range is $80-90/hr on a 1099 hourly basis, considering experience, education, location, and certifications. This is a 6+ months consulting engagement.
