Job summary

Google Beam program managers coordinate end-to-end initiatives that span offices and time zones, delivering complex events from first-party tent poles to major industry conferences. As Deployments Program Manager for Google Beam, you’ll organize high-impact activities, manage on-site logistics, and align executive stakeholders while advancing

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in program or project management.
  • Experience managing on-site execution, spatial layouts, and live operational logistics for external events, first-party tent poles, or industry trade shows (e.g., CES, Google I/O, Cannes, or corporate user conferences).
  • Experience collaborating cross functionally with Go to Market teams, sales teams, or marketing teams.

Responsibilities

  • Define, lead, and own program charters that address scope, timeline, OKRs, and risks for moderately complex programs.
  • Scope, phase, and lead ambiguous cross-functional and cross-organizational challenges, including delivering downstream change management.
  • Own and evolve the event intake and kick-off process, triaging requests and defining DRIs for global deployment planning.
  • Manage strategic partnerships with creative agencies and hardware partners to execute premium designs and deliver on complex on-site logistics.
  • Oversee technical readiness for high-stakes demos, including troubleshooting in partnership with engineering and vendor teams.

Minimum qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in program or project management.
  • Experience managing on-site execution, spatial layouts, and live operational logistics for external events, first-party tent poles, or industry trade shows (e.g., CES, Google I/O, Cannes, or corporate user conferences).
  • Experience collaborating cross functionally with Go to Market teams, sales teams, or marketing teams.
Preferred qualifications
  • 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • Experience navigating ambiguous, high-pressure environments.
  • Experience acting as the operational bridge between technical engineering teams and field deployment teams, including on-site troubleshooting of interactive hardware, AV systems, or live demo controls.
  • Familiarity with event-specific scheduling and data tools such as Jiffle, lead tracking systems, and badge scanning technology.
  • Strong understanding of event-specific technologies and data-driven storytelling to influence executive leadership.
  • Savvy users of AI/ML technologies with an ability to lead improvements through process automation.

As the Deployments Program Manager for Google Beam, you will proactively identify, organize, and lead high-impact program activities and stakeholders. You are responsible for the end-to-end strategy and execution of complex events where Beam stations are deployed ranging from first-party tent poles to major industry conferences.

You will scope, phase, and lead ambiguous cross-functional and cross-organizational challenges, ensuring alignment among executive stakeholders while delivering significant downstream change management.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $159000 - $230000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits
