Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Magna, Utah, is seeking a Program Manager 2 for the D5 Modernization effort within the Fleet Ballistic Missiles program. You will direct all program phases, own cost, schedule, and technical performance, and serve as the primary customer interface at the Bacchus site.

You will lead cross-functional teams, manage proposals and budgets, coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, and suppliers, and drive digital transformation while upholding EVMS and security requirements.

Qualifications

• Must have a bachelor’s degree in engineering or business/finance with eight years of relevant experience.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Direct all program phases from inception through completion for D5 Modernization at Bacchus (Loaded Motor, RMA), ensuring safety, cost, schedule and technical performance.
• Lead process and tooling upgrades, including manufacturing optimizations and equipment qualifications.
• Advance digital transformation by directing data and analytics tool deployment in production.
• Control budget & schedule as the site CAM with EVMS tracking and scope containment.
• Provide hands-on leadership with cross-functional engineering, manufacturing and admin teams; remove roadblocks.
• Serve as primary interface to cultivate partnerships with engineering, operations, suppliers, and Navy customers.
• Plan future capabilities by coordinating with facilities and CapEx teams for long-term needs.
• Oversee end-to-end preparation of proposals, budgets, and financial terms for future programs.
• Align program goals by coordinating with cross-functional PMs to prioritize milestones.
