Job summary

Albertina Kerr in Forest Grove, OR, seeks a dynamic Program Manager to lead its neighborhood youth group home. You will guide staff, implement core competencies and policies, and coordinate services to support each youth’s goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years delivering attendant care in a setting regulated by Oregon DHS or OHA.
• 2+ years experience leading, mentoring, or coordinating 2+ staff.
• Verbal and written English proficiency.
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
• Ability to lift/push/pull up to 75 lbs.
• Licensed driver with at least 2 years driving experience.
• Criminal background check required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor staff to implement core competencies, policies and procedures, and administrative rules.
• Coordinate services for each youth to support individual plans.
• Fill-in as Direct Support Professional to maintain staffing ratios.
• Act as primary staff contact for the team 24 hours per day, 5 days per week.
• Prevent and resolve conflicts and lead change initiatives.
• Oversee on-site residential youth group home operations in Forest Grove.

We are looking for a dynamic and passionate Program Manager who is ready to lead and empower our neighborhood youth group home to help each individual we support achieve their full potential. As a Program Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality of support. You will lead, mentor, and train staff to implement our core competencies, policies and procedures, and administrative rules to ensure the development and implementation of individual support plans. You will also be responsible for coordinating any necessary or desired services for each youth. You will fill-in as a Direct Support Professional when necessary to ensure staffing ratios and act as primary contact for staff 24 hours per day, 5 days per week. You will be key in preventing and resolving conflicts and leading and managing change. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• A required minimum two years of experience delivering attendant care in a setting regulated by either the Oregon Department of Human Services or the Oregon Health Authority.
• For Program Managers providing services to children, a minimum of two years professional experience delivering supports to children is required
• At least one year of experience leading, mentoring, or coordinating the work of two or more individuals preferred
• Verbal and written English language proficiency sufficient to communicate with people we support, co-workers, and community members
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills
• Good organizational skills
• Ability to relate effectively with clients and families
• Ability to respond to crisis situations in a calm professional manner
• Ability to lift, push and pull up to 75lbs
• Licensed driver with at least two years' driving experience required
• A criminal background check is required
