Job summary

Cumming Group is seeking a Program Manager in Long Beach, CA to oversee capital improvement projects linked to a public university's athletic field. You will guide planning, design, procurement, construction and closeout with a focus on meeting client goals on time and within budget.

The ideal candidate has at least 15 years in project management, engineering or construction management and experience with multiple delivery methods and educational facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• Experience leading planning, design, procurement, construction and closeout of multiple projects.
• Strong background with higher education or athletic field projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design processes to monitor project scope, cost, schedule and risk to meet goals on time and budget.
• Lead project team of varying sizes and define technical scope.
• Review cost estimates and maintain monthly budgets for current and forecasted expenditures.
• Coordinate communications with the client and provide regular reports.
• Establish controls to ensure projects are completed on time and on budget per contract.
