Job summary

Cumming Group in Columbia, SC is seeking a Project Manager to lead field-based program and project management on a new higher education project currently in construction. You will coordinate schedule, scope, and cost while delivering value engineering opportunities.

In this client-facing role, you will communicate with stakeholders, develop action plans, and ensure project documents and design standards align with client goals and contract scope. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

Experience developing and driving action plans.
Demonstrated ability to monitor scope throughout the project and recommend adjustments when necessary.
Effective written and oral communication skills.
Understanding how your role contributes to the organization's goals.
Hold self accountable to individual and team goals.

Responsibilities

Plan, manage, and coordinate all aspects of the project schedule, scope, and cost.
Value engineer the project by identifying opportunities for savings and ensuring material substitutions are equal.
Communicate with project stakeholders.
Evaluate documents and communicate the client’s goals to project team members.
Develop and communicate action plans to guide the project team.
Re-evaluate contract scope against goals and adjust as needed.
Organize and maintain framework for project processes and documents.
Ensure design management aligns with budget, scope, schedule and client standards.
