Program Manager - High School & College Success

Foundation For C.H.O.I.C.E. (FFC)

Position Summary

Foundation For C.H.O.I.C.E. (FFC) is seeking an experienced, relationship-focused Program Manager - High School & College Success to lead the implementation and growth of FFC’ s high school, college, and corporate-based programs.

This position will manage programming designed to help high school students prepare for college and careers and support college students as they persist toward graduation and professional success. The role will also help lead corporate mentoring initiatives, coordinate volunteers and mentors, maintain strong school and partner relationships, and ensure accurate data collection and reporting.

The ideal candidate has experience in secondary education, higher education, college access, youth development, mentoring, or nonprofit program management. This individual must be equally comfortable facilitating a high school workshop, leading a virtual college mentoring session, presenting to corporate professionals, and building meaningful relationships with school administrators and community partners.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Lead the implementation of assigned high school mentoring, leadership, college readiness, and career readiness programs.
  • Facilitate engaging sessions for high school students using Foundation For C.H.O.I.C.E.'s established curriculum.
  • Support students with goal setting, postsecondary planning, college applications, financial aid, scholarships, career exploration, and professional development.
  • Ensure programming is delivered consistently, professionally, and in alignment with FFC’ s program model.
  • Monitor student engagement, participation, and progress throughout the school year.
College Program Management
  • Manage FFC’ s college mentoring and student success programs.
  • Coordinate mentor and mentee matching, monthly mentoring touchpoints, workshops, communications, and follow-up.
  • Build consistent relationships with participating college students and help identify students who may need additional support.
  • Develop and facilitate workshops related to college persistence, financial aid, academic planning, internships, career readiness, leadership, and professional development.
  • Support students as they navigate challenges related to enrollment, registration, academic progress, campus resources, and career preparation.
  • Maintain regular communication with mentors and students to encourage accountability and continued participation.
Corporate Program Facilitation
  • Support and professionally facilitate mentoring sessions, workshops, and student experiences at corporate partner locations.
  • Serve as an onsite liaison between students, mentors, school staff, FFC staff, and corporate volunteers.
  • Coordinate session agendas, volunteer assignments, materials, room setup, attendance, and other program logistics.
  • Help create an organized and meaningful experience for students, mentors, and corporate partners.
  • Represent Foundation For C.H.O.I.C.E. with professionalism, confidence, and excellence.
Corporate and Community Partnership Support
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with assigned corporate partners.
  • Communicate regularly with partner representatives regarding schedules, volunteer needs, program updates, and upcoming opportunities.
  • Identify opportunities to deepen corporate engagement through mentoring, workshops, career exposure, internships, Business Champions, and other forms of support.
  • Assist with corporate partner stewardship and recognition.
Mentor Recruitment and Engagement
  • Help recruit mentors for FFC’ s high school and college programs.
  • Build relationships with prospective mentors from corporate and community networks.
  • Coordinate mentor onboarding, orientation, training, communication, and ongoing support.
  • Help retain mentors by creating an organized, responsive, and meaningful volunteer experience.
  • Monitor mentor participation and follow up when engagement declines.
School Partnership Development
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with high school principals, counselors, teachers, and campus administrators.
  • Work with school partners to coordinate schedules, student participation, program logistics, and campus communication.
  • Clearly communicate the value and impact of Foundation For C.H.O.I.C.E. programming.
  • Serve as a trusted and professional representative of FFC at assigned campuses.
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen student support and expand high school programming.
Business Champion Recruitment
  • Assist in identifying and recruiting Business Champions who can support FFC through volunteerism, advocacy, partnerships, professional expertise, and financial investment.
  • Build relationships with business and community leaders who align with the organization’s mission.
  • Help connect Business Champions to meaningful engagement opportunities within FFC programs.
Program Operations and Logistics
  • Manage logistics for assigned high school, college, and corporate programs.
  • Coordinate calendars, program materials, transportation, room reservations, attendance, volunteers, communications, and event preparation.
  • Ensure all assigned sessions, workshops, field trips, and special events are well organized and professionally executed.
  • Maintain accurate program records and meet internal deadlines.
Data Collection and Reporting
  • Ensure accurate and timely collection of student attendance, mentor participation, surveys, assessments, workshop evaluations, and program outcomes.
  • Maintain current records for high school and college participants.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and assist with grant, board, and corporate partner reporting.
  • Understand the importance of accurate data in demonstrating impact, improving programs, and securing continued funding.
  • Follow up with students, mentors, and partners to obtain missing information when necessary.
Team Collaboration
  • Collaborate closely with program staff, facilitators, leadership, and administrative team members.
  • Support the development and improvement of curriculum, workshops, student resources, and mentor materials.
  • Participate in staff meetings, program planning, training, and professional development.
  • Share program challenges, successes, and recommended solutions with leadership.
Other Responsibilities
  • Represent Foundation For C.H.O.I.C.E. at school, corporate, college, and community events.
  • Support award ceremonies, college workshops, career experiences, mentor events, and special initiatives.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support the mission and growth of Foundation For C.H.O.I.C.E.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required in Education, Higher Education, Counseling, Social Work, Human Services, Nonprofit Management, Communications, or a related field.
  • Three or more years of experience in secondary education, higher education, college access, youth development, mentoring, or nonprofit program management.
  • Experience working directly with high school and college students.
  • Experience managing mentors, volunteers, partnerships, or student programs.
  • Knowledge of college admissions, FAFSA, scholarships, academic persistence, internships, and career readiness.
  • Strong public speaking, workshop facilitation, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent relationship-building and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational, project management, and follow-through abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple programs, schedules, partners, and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, virtual meeting platforms, survey tools, and data management systems.
  • Reliable transportation and the ability to travel between school campuses, corporate partner offices, colleges, and community events.
