Foundation For C.H.O.I.C.E. (FFC) is seeking an energetic, relationship‑driven Program Coordinator – Youth Programs who empowers students through mentoring, character development, leadership, and college and career readiness.

You will facilitate engaging lessons, coordinate school partnerships, recruit mentors, and manage program logistics across elementary to high school initiatives, aiming to expand FFC’s impact in North Texas.

Job description

Foundation For C.H.O.I.C.E. (FFC) is seeking an energetic, relationship-driven Program Coordinator – Youth Programs who is passionate about empowering students through mentoring, character development, leadership, and college and career readiness.

The ideal candidate has classroom teaching or educational experience and is comfortable engaging students from elementary through high school in dynamic, interactive learning environments. This individual will facilitate FFC's established curriculum across multiple programs, including our new elementary initiative, while ensuring high-quality program delivery, accurate data collection, and exceptional professionalism in both school and corporate settings.

The Program Coordinator will build meaningful relationships with school administrators, educators, corporate partners, mentors, volunteers, and community leaders while helping expand FFC's impact across North Texas.

Program Coordinator – Youth Programs

Foundation For C.H.O.I.C.E. (FFC)

Primary ResponsibilitiesProgram Facilitation
  • Facilitate engaging, interactive lessons using Foundation For C.H.O.I.C.E.'s established curriculum.
  • Lead programming for elementary, middle school, and high school students across multiple FFC initiatives.
  • Support the successful implementation and growth of FFC's new elementary program pilot.
  • Create safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environments that encourage participation, leadership, and personal growth.
  • Confidently facilitate classroom-sized groups as well as large assemblies while maintaining strong classroom management.
  • Adapt instruction to meet the developmental needs of different age groups while maintaining curriculum fidelity.
Corporate Mentoring Program Facilitation
  • Professionally facilitate mentoring sessions at corporate partner locations.
  • Serve as the onsite liaison between students, mentors, school staff, and corporate volunteers.
  • Ensure mentoring sessions are organized, engaging, and professionally executed.
  • Represent Foundation For C.H.O.I.C.E. with excellence and professionalism at all times.
School Partnership Development
  • Build and maintain meaningful relationships with principals, counselors, teachers, and campus administrators.
  • Demonstrate the value and impact of FFC programming through consistent communication and collaboration.
  • Coordinate schedules, logistics, student participation, and campus needs with school leadership.
  • Serve as a trusted representative of FFC within assigned schools.
Mentor Recruitment & Engagement
  • Assist in recruiting volunteer mentors for Foundation For C.H.O.I.C.E.'s mentoring programs.
  • Build relationships with prospective mentors and community volunteers.
  • Support mentor onboarding, orientation, communication, and engagement throughout the school year.
  • Help ensure mentors have a positive and meaningful volunteer experience.
Business Champion Recruitment
  • Assist in identifying, cultivating, and engaging Business Champions who can support Foundation For C.H.O.I.C.E. through volunteerism, advocacy, partnerships, and financial investment.
  • Build relationships within the business community to expand awareness and support of FFC's mission.
Campus Logistics & Program Coordination
  • Manage logistics for assigned campuses and programs.
  • Coordinate calendars, session preparation, materials, supplies, room setup, attendance, and communications.
  • Ensure each program session is prepared, organized, and executed with excellence.
  • Assist with field trips, workshops, recognition ceremonies, special events, and corporate visits.
Data Collection & Program Evaluation
  • Maintain accurate attendance records and program documentation.
  • Collect student, mentor, and volunteer surveys and assessments.
  • Track program outcomes and ensure all grant-required data is collected accurately and on time.
  • Understand the critical role data plays in measuring program success, continuous improvement, and organizational growth.
Community Engagement
  • Represent Foundation For C.H.O.I.C.E. at community events, volunteer opportunities, school functions, and corporate partner events.
  • Assist with outreach efforts that strengthen community awareness and engagement.
  • Support fundraising and community engagement initiatives as needed.
Other Responsibilities
  • Attend staff meetings, trainings, and professional development opportunities.
  • Collaborate with team members to continuously improve programming and student outcomes.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support the mission and growth of Foundation For C.H.O.I.C.E.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Human Services, Social Work, Youth Development, Communications, or a related field preferred.
  • Classroom teaching or instructional experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience facilitating programs for elementary, middle school, and/or high school students.
  • Experience with mentoring, youth development, social-emotional learning, or character education is a plus.
  • Excellent classroom management and group facilitation skills.
  • Strong public speaking and presentation abilities.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and data management systems.
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between school campuses and corporate partner locations.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to travel regularly between schools, corporate partner locations, and community events.
  • Ability to stand and facilitate presentations for extended periods.
