Job summary

Blue Shield of California is seeking a CalPERS Program Manager, Consultant who will report to the Director of Select Business Solutions.

You will lead monitoring and management of HMO/PPO trend and operating income performance variances, identify issues, maintain action plans, coordinate cross-functional stakeholders, and provide regular progress reporting to ensure accountability and drive performance improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or High School Diploma with 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• 7 years of prior relevant experience noted.
• Experience with financial performance metrics and variance analysis.
• Experience with cross-functional business operations and healthcare administration.
• Experience creating and maintaining tracking logs, dashboards, and scorecards.
• Experience developing executive reporting and presentations.

Responsibilities

• Lead monitoring and management of trend and operating income performance variances.
• Identify emerging issues and maintain initiative and action plan inventories.
• Coordinate stakeholders and track milestones and progress.
• Prepare regular reporting on progress, risks, and outcomes for accountability and performance improvement.
• Coordinate data analysis potentially including data warehouse activities.
