Job summary

Highmark Health is seeking a Program Manager to define, plan, and deliver complex programs across cross-functional teams in a healthcare environment. This role focuses on managing interdependencies, budgets, and timelines to achieve strategic objectives.

Responsibilities include leading project managers, developing roadmaps, and reporting progress to executives. A PMP is preferred; 1–3 years of PM experience required; a bachelor’s degree is valued.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–3 years in a project manager role or in a project leadership role.
• Preferred health care insurance industry business/operational knowledge.
• Experience with an industry standard software development lifecycle (SDLC).

Responsibilities

• Drive out program strategy and approach; maintain program roadmap with cross-functional activities.
• Assemble project teams and lead Project Managers in developing comprehensive program plans.
• Collaborate with executives and business owners to achieve program objectives.
• Monitor scope, schedule, budget and alignment; take corrective action as needed.
• Deliver presentations on program status to communicate across project lifecycle.
• Adhere to project management methods and audit requirements; support improvements.
• Other duties as assigned.
