Job summary

Chinook Fund, based in Denver, is seeking a part-time Program Manager to implement Giving Projects, including outreach, networking, and coaching. You will facilitate sessions on race, class, and fundraising, and coach members on their fundraising plans to build power for social change in Colorado.

The role emphasizes collaboration, curriculum design, and supporting multiple Giving Projects annually, with 30 hours per week and a salary range of $34,000–$38,000 plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Project planning experience with the ability to execute a project.
• Demonstrated commitment to social justice, the mission, and broad-based community engagement.
• Excellent social justice analysis, including awareness about race and class privilege.
• Excellent facilitation skills with diverse groups.
• Experience with popular education, adult learning, or facilitation of diverse learning styles.
• Ability to build relationships with Giving Project members and grantees.
• Ability to motivate and engage volunteers and support a strong team.
• Willingness to work evenings/weekends and travel occasionally.
• Strong communication, feedback, and cross-team collaboration skills.
• Detail-oriented with ability to balance priorities.

Responsibilities

• Program Management: lead and support Giving Projects; ensure goals are met.
• Facilitation and Coaching: serve as the lead facilitator for projects and coach members.
• Outreach and Recruitment: recruit participants and plan information sessions.
• Administration: screen grant applications and manage donation tracking.
• National Giving Project Network: participate in calls and annual convening; assist fundraising.
