Job summary

vTech Solution is seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead a government engagement focused on risk management and quality delivery, managing the project from initiation through go-live with on-site presence in Columbus, OH.

You will run discovery workshops to gather requirements, develop comprehensive project plans with timelines, milestones, budgets, WBS and RACI, oversee execution, identify risks, and coordinate IT, business and vendor resources for a controlled, compliant delivery.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in project planning, scheduling, and resource management.
• Experience in risk mitigation and issue resolution.
• Proficient in business requirements gathering and documentation.
• Strong data analysis and decision-making skills.
• Experience with vendor management and contract oversight.

Responsibilities

• Conduct discovery workshops to gather and validate business requirements.
• Develop project plans including timelines, milestones, budgets, Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), and RACI matrices.
• Oversee project execution, track progress, and report status via dashboards and meetings.
• Identify and manage risks using a risk register and formal change control processes.
• Coordinate business, IT, and vendor resources; support vendor onboarding and compliance.
• Lead steering committees, status meetings, and stakeholder communications.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), go-live readiness, and post-project lessons learned and closure.
