Legacy Treatment Services in Burlington County, NJ seeks a Program Manager for the Adolescent Group Home. You will supervise daily operations, maintain a therapeutic milieu, and partner with the Clinical Team Leader to implement treatment plans.

Responsibilities include staffing, training, budgeting, and coordinating with schools. The role emphasizes safety, crisis prevention, and program development for youth and staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or substantial experience in the field may be substituted for education.
• Prior residential counselor experience and at least 1 year of supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Direct coordination of daily program activities.
• Residence leader and staff supervision/evaluation.
• Develop and implement staff orientation and training programs.
• Coordinate with school staff and teachers to ensure school program follow-up.
• Participate in individual, group and family therapy as directed by the Clinical Team Leader.
• Ensure safety and security of the program, Consumers and staff.
• Address timecards and staff scheduling, including on-call coverage.
• Develop programs and off-campus activities to support emotional growth.

Oversee the implementation and maintenance of a positive, strengths-base, developmentally appropriate therapeutic milieu that is in keeping with the values and clinical treatment philosophy of Legacy Treatment Services. The Program Manger serves as the House Manager and is responsible for the safety and security of the program, building, Consumers and staff. Position has primary responsibility for budgets, scheduling and staff performance. Working with the Clinical Team Leader, position has the responsibility of implementing programming within the residence. Primary duties and responsibilities include: Direct coordination of daily program activities. Residence leader. Hire, supervise and evaluate all Program staff, including emergency scheduling of "on call" staff members. Develop and implement orientation and training programs for all Program employees. Participate in and share leadership of staff meetings. Assign Consumers to lead residential therapists, and monitor these relationships. Develop and implement Program staff schedule. Address and approve timecards Participate in individual, group and family therapy as indicated in the individual treatment plans of Consumers, or as directed by the Clinical Team Leader. Provide a point of contact for Consumer's family and other community resources. Coordinate with school staff and the Consumer's teachers to insure follow up of the school programs. Develop programs in which all Consumers can participate, schedule off campus trips that will aid the Consumers in their emotional growth. Make the home a safe and fun place for all Consumers and staff. Actively engages in all pre crisis and crisis interventions, seeking to establish a positive outcome.
