Job summary

The Salvation Army is seeking a Program Manager in Chicago, IL to lead day-to-day operations of the Emergency Homeless Assessment and Response Center. You will supervise staff on shifts, coordinate client services, and liaise with donors, partners, and service providers to ensure high-quality outcomes.

You will prepare required reports, maintain HMIS/related data accuracy, and uphold confidentiality, safety, and trauma-informed practices in a challenging, residential setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum of high school diploma or GED required; Associate Degree preferred.
• 2 years’ work experience with homeless families or individuals.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
