Job summary

Hanley Energy, based in Ashburn, VA, is seeking a Program Manager to oversee Electrical Low Voltage projects in AMER. You will coordinate teams of Project Managers and Coordinators, mentor delivery staff, and drive governance and budgeting across multiple projects to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Requirements include a PM-certified background, strong leadership, excellent communication, and 3+ years in PM/PMO roles within data center or critical power environments.

Overview:

The Program Manager oversees and coordinates all related Electrical Low Voltage projects in AMER to ensure they benefit one another and meet business goals. Main duties include organizing various programs and activities to improve company efficiencies, building long-term goals for company projects and developing program and project budgets. Working with a team of Project Managers to ensure all low voltage electrical projects are executed adhering to Hanley Energy’s high standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Project delivery will form part of this role however, your time will be shared between project delivery and the responsibilities outlined below.
  • Ensure all projects in the program are delivered in line with the culture and ethos of the company.
  • Lead and evaluate the performance of Projects Managers and Project Coordinators etc. working on your Team and support the recruitment process for vacant PMO positions when necessary.
  • Mentor and support the Project Team in the delivery of their projects and act as a point of escalation for serious issues or risks as and when they are identified.
  • Lead root cause analysis of Project related issues.
  • Manage Program Governance by review of process methodology and identify areas of improvement through process revision and automation, ensuring all projects are delivered as efficiently as possible.
  • Oversee multiple Project Teams, ensuring Program Goals are achieved.
  • Support the Management Team in making informed decisions on Procurement, Staff Utilization, Sales, and Forecasting.
  • Monitor the status and progress of all Projects in your care and effectively communicate this information with the Management Team, keeping them informed of potential opportunities for / risks to the business.
  • Developing and maintaining strong client relationships through active engagement on scheduling, forecasting, and reporting etc.
