Job summary

Teaching Lab in New York, NY is seeking a Program Manager (ELA/Special Education Coaching) to implement excellent programmatic services through coaching, facilitation of professional learning, and collaboration with school and district leaders. The role emphasizes strong coaching cycles, content design, and maintaining partner relationships to drive measurable outcomes.

The role requires 5+ years in K-8 education with experience coaching HQIM and working with diverse partners.

Qualifications

• Five (5) or more years combined experience in K-8 education, with a minimum of two years teaching K-8 students from underserved backgrounds and demonstrated impact.
• Two (2) or more years collaborating with partners outside their organization to manage workflow or deliver services.
• Two (2) or more years of project planning and implementation experience.
• Two (2) or more years leading or coaching HQIM implementations in any subject area.

Responsibilities

• Engage in coaching cycles, including observations, modeling, co-teaching, data analysis, and feedback.
• Design and facilitate high-quality professional learning content and resources grounded in research-based practices.
• Maintain strong partner relationships, support contract renewals, and contribute to business development as needed.
• Support Teaching Lab systems, tools, and processes for scaling partnerships, monitoring impact, and ensuring effective implementation.
