Job summary

Teaching Lab in New York, NY seeks a Manager, Program (ELA/Special Education Coaching) to lead coaching cycles, design effective professional learning, and strengthen district partnerships. This role focuses on K-8 ELA and special education outcomes, with a strong emphasis on HQIM implementation and equity-driven practice.

Qualifications

• Five or more years in K-8 education with impact
• Experience coordinating with external partners
• Experience planning and implementing projects
• Experience coaching HQIM implementation
• Deep knowledge of C&E Ready math/ELA content (standards)
• Experience designing professional learning for educators
• Experience facilitating professional learning or coaching
• Experience managing client/stakeholder relationships
• Experience with specified curricula (e.g., HMH Into Reading/Literature, EL Education, SPIR.E)

Responsibilities

• Coaching cycles: observations, modeling, co-teaching, data analysis, feedback
• Design and facilitate high-quality professional learning content
• Maintain strong partner relationships and support contract renewals
• Support program systems, tools, and processes for scaling partnerships
