Job summary

Voyager Technologies in Huntsville, AL, is seeking a Program Manager with a strong engineering background to lead defense and space programs. You will work cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, and contracts to drive scope, cost, schedule, and risk, delivering mission-critical outcomes in a fast-paced, startup-like environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of program management experience on technical programs.
• Experience supporting defense, space, or regulated environments.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams in startup-like settings.
• Understanding of program cost, schedule, risk, and deliverables.
• Experience with government contracting environments and contracts.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of defense/space programs.
• Own program performance across cost, schedule, scope, and risk.
• Collaborate with engineering to assess tradeoffs and risks.
• Develop integrated plans, risk registers, and status reporting.
• Drive cross-functional execution across multiple functions.
• Identify risks early and drive mitigation and closure.
• Operate in ambiguous environments with limited data.
• Lead recovery efforts to return programs to stability.
• Support contract reviews, statements of work, milestones.
